민주당은 한 지명자에게 오는 28일 본회의에서 처리할 예정인 김건희 여사 특검법 수용도 촉구했다. 홍익표 원내대표는 이날 최고위원회의에서 “지난 여당 대표들이 외면당한 핵심은 대통령 뜻을 거스르지 않는 대표였다는 것”이라며 “한동훈 비대위원장은 윤 대통령에게 과감하게 할 소리를 해달라”고 말했다. 그러면서 “‘특검도 받자, 대통령실을 둘러싼 각종 비리 의혹 이번 기회에 털어내고 당당한 대통령과 대통령실이 되면 좋겠다’ (말을) 해서 쌍특검(김건희 여사 특검, 대장동 50억 클럽 특검)은 물론, 해병대원 순직 특검·국정조사와 양평고속도로 국정조사를 받는 게 혁신이고 한동훈 비대위원장이 해야 할 일”이라고 말했다.
